Coral Bloom's records sound like they were made in a single, unbroken breath — and in a sense, they were. The duo record everything at home, layering takes late into the night with the windows open to the sea.
That intimacy comes with trade-offs. Without an outside producer, they admit it's easy to get lost in endless tweaks. Their solution is a strict rule: if a song isn't working after two nights, it gets shelved.
The approach has kept their sound consistent and unhurried, and they have no plans to change it anytime soon.
