Privacy Policy

Welcome to Procuratr. We respect your privacy and want you to be clear on what account data we store and why. Browsing the site doesn't require an account and involves no personal data at all - everything below only applies once you sign in.

You can sign in with a Google account or with a one-time "magic link" sent to your email - both are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.

What we see: your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile information (such as your name), used to create and verify your account.

What we store: your email address is kept as part of your account record so you can sign back in. We never see or store your Google password.

Once you're signed in, anything you set is saved to your account:

• Display name, if you set one
• Home city, region, and country, plus the approximate coordinates we resolve from them (see Third-Party Services below), used to power "Shows Near You"
• Favorite genres and favorited artists
• Preferred streaming service, used to customize the links shown on album pages
• Notification preferences - currently unused, since no email-sending service is connected yet

This data is only used to run the features you've opted into, is visible only to you, and is never sold or shared with advertisers.

• Google Sign-In - one of two sign-in options; your use of it is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Supabase - our authentication and database provider, storing your account and the preferences listed above.
• Geoapify - if you enter a home city, we send that city/region/country to Geoapify to resolve map coordinates from it, used only for distance-based show filtering.

Procuratr is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically collects standard network and routing data, including your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, to securely route traffic and maintain website stability. This infrastructure data is handled under Vercel's own privacy practices and isn't linked to your account profile.

We don't use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or marketing cookies. Signing in sets an essential session cookie so you stay logged in as you navigate the site; it's cleared when you sign out.

Your account data is kept until you delete it. You can permanently delete your account, including your profile, favorites, and saved preferences, at any time from the "Danger Zone" section of your Account page - this takes effect immediately and can't be undone. You can also email us (below) to request deletion, or to correct anything on your profile.

Procuratr is accessible worldwide. Your account data is processed and stored by our hosting (Vercel) and database (Supabase) providers, which may operate in a country other than your own.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated effective date.
